Lincoln Six-Echo and Jordan Two-Delta are among the hundreds of residents of a contained facility 
in the mid-21st century. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, 
everything about their day-to-day lives is monitored, seemingly for their own good. The only way 
out--and the hope they all share--is to be chosen to go to The Island, reportedly the last 
uncontaminated spot in the world following an ecological disaster that took the lives of everyone 
on the planet except them. Recently plagued by unexplained nightmares, Lincoln is restless and 
increasingly questioning of the restrictions placed on his life. But he is unprepared for the truth 
when his growing curiosity leads to the terrible discovery that everything about his existence is a 
lie, that The Island is a cruel hoax and that he, Jordan and everyone they know are actually more 
valuable dead than alive. With time running out, Lincoln and Jordan make a daring escape to the 
outside world they've never known. Once they are away from the prying eyes of the institute, the 
innocent friendship the two shared begins to deepen into something more. But with the forces of the 
institute relentlessly hunting them down, Lincoln and Jordan have one overriding mission: to live.

Lincoln Six-Echo is a resident of a seemingly Utopian but contained facility in the year 2019. Like 
all of the inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to 
the "The Island" - reportedly the last uncontaminated spot on the planet. But Lincoln soon discovers 
that everything about his existence is a lie. He and all of the other inhabitants of the facility 
are actually human clones. Lincoln makes a daring escape with a beautiful fellow resident named Jordan 
Two-Delta. Relentlessly pursued by the forces of the sinister institute that once housed them, Lincoln 
and Jordan engage in a race for their lives to literally meet their makers.

Lincoln Six Echo is just like everyone else-he's waiting to go to the island-the only place left in 
the world to actually live a life. Thousands of people stay at a facility waiting to go to the island. 
It all sounds like paradise but Lincoln Six Echo soon discovers that there's actually a sinister 
purpose going on at that facility and must escape. Not only that but he also realizes that he must 
stop the sinister plan going on at that facility.

In 2019, Lincoln Six Echo and Jordan Two Delta are best friends in a repressive and intriguing society, 
where everybody expects to win the lottery. The prize is to move to a paradisaical island outside the 
domes that protect the dwellers against the contaminated environment. Jordan wins the lottery, and 
Lincoln accidentally finds the scary truth behind the Utopian award: they are clones, generated to 
provide replacement organs and parts to the owners of insurance policy.
