How's this for being in the right place at the right time? Tomas Maruska of Stupava, Slovakia took this incredible... once in a lifetime shot of the Venus transit. Ok.. so Venus transits are generally once (max twice) in a lifetime events. What makes this shot so special... and so unique... is that something like this has never happened before. Along with Venus transiting the Sun, you can see The International Space Station transiting as well. Incredibly, the area in which this pairing of events was visible was a narrow swath only a few hundred meters wide.
