PLANETS - SATURN'S SATELLITE DATA

 

This table updated on 01/11/03. Satellites are listed in order of increasing 
distance from Saturn. The table has been broken up into groups of 10 to aid 
reading the data. Data adopted from NASA Space Science Data Centre/Goddard 
Spaceflight Centre tables and other sources. To save you counting, there are 
31 moons... so far... at the moment.

Several recently discovered Saturnian moons had been given temporary numbers 
by the I.A.U but most of them have now been named. These were S/2000 S1 to 
S/2000 S12. S/2003 S1 is yet to be named.
