The
Jacana
The Okavango Delta, fed by the Okavango River, is the world's largest inland river delta, a
magnificent and unique wetland habitat in Northern Botswana, surrounded
by the harsh, dry Kalahari Desert. Here Jacanas are common and are identifiable by
their huge feet and claws which enable them to walk on floating
vegetation. They must keep moving else they will sink, hence our choice
of this magnificent bird to symbolize our business. |
